The Gold Coast consists of 70 kilometres, 43.8 miles of coastline with 42 kilometres, 26.25 miles of golden beaches on Bundjalung country. Brisbane is only about 60 kilometres, 37.5 miles north from the northern part of the Gold Coast and about 100 kilometres, 62.5 miles from Tweed Heads in the south. Theme parks, water sports, sports facilities, high-rise accommodation, markets, shopping, dining, night-life and entertainment can all be found on the coast. Activity and partying is the key to an enjoyable Gold Coast experience.

Honda Indy 300
Every year the Gold Coast Honda Indy 300 guarantees four days of international motorsport, excitement and entertainment with championship cars racing through the street circuit of Surfers Paradise against a backdrop of ocean, mountains and high-rise. Over the four days of racing the Gold Coast buzzes with street entertainment, parties and concerts.
